British Commonwealth, British Empire Collection, a couple thousand stamps from QV to early QEII, including modest duplication, neatly arranged on 58 small black approval cards (19 of the cards are B.N.A.); loaded with better items throughout like (mint unless noted) B.C.A. #65-68 with Specimen overprints, Cyprus #114-123 used, Falklands #28a, 29, 84-96, Hong Kong used #5, 6, 66, 66b and mint #18 (wing margin), 66 (3, one no gum, one toned), Madagascar #45/50a (6 diff.), New Republic #43//62 (27 diff.), New Zealand #122-125 (3) and Rhodesia double heads to the 7s6d; the B.N.A. also includes many better sets and high values; condition is a bit spotty, with much of the Classic material (which includes some forgeries) being less than Fine; but a good percentage of the later material, including most of the mentioned numbers, are F-VF. An excellent lot, worthy of a careful inspection. Scott 98.
