Great Britain Collection, 1840-1936, incredible used collection mounted on quadrille pages in a Stanley Gibbons album, beautifully mounted and identified per Stanley Gibbons, besides the major numbers, this collection contains in many cases all the listed plate numbers, the shilling and £ values are quite omplete per the major numbers and in many cases both white and bluish papers plus some color varieties are present. A flavor of what this lot contains follows: starts with a Penny Black then 4c, 5 (3), 6 SG die 1-4, 7 all four SG colors including the violet, 33 complete except for plate #77, 57 plate 1 & 2, 58 complete for all plate numbers, 74-75, 90-92 all 6 bluish and white papers, £5 Orange, bluish paper with certificate, 96a bluish paper with certificate, 109a cobalt with certificate, all the Queen Victoria & George V brown and green £1 stamps are present, however, 123 has perf-initials, Seahorses complete, the shilling and £ values end with the P.U.C. £1, our inspection confirms that condition is well above what is normally expected, in fact, many of the shilling and £ values are sound.
