1861, 3¢ rose (65), tied by clear oval "7.M. House O." with "Mar. 10" manuscript. date on small embossed lady's envelope to Republic, Ohio, stamp with unnoticeable nick at R., still Very Fine, a possibly unique example of this unusual D.P.O. (1861-1872). The Seven Mile House post office was located in a hotel of the same name built by the postmaster, John Powell.
