Blood & Co., 1850 (1¢) bronze on black (15L13), margins all around, tied by blue "Baltimore Md. Dec. 2" c.d.s. on 1850 folded letter to Alexandria, Va. with red "WAY 5" struck at upper right, cover with some staining at top, Fine and rare. The letter was brought by Blood's to the railroad depot and struck on arrival in Baltimore. Fine.
