Brady & Co.'s Penny Post, 1860, 1¢ violet (23L1), unused, no gum, margins ample to clear except in at top, traces of toning at upper left edges, Fine appearance. A note in Scott states that the authenticity of this post has not been fully established, however the extreme scarcity, the lack of multiples and the frequently imperfect condition argue in its favor.
