Canada Panama to Canada, August 1850 folded letter in pale green, to St. Catherines, C.W., red "PANAMA" straightline applied by the U.S. Despatch Agent at Panama City, carried by the U.S. Mail Steamship Co. Ohio from Chagres, Columbia to New York, "30" rate handstamp in red, manuscript. "2/3" and "4½" due, Queenston U.C. postmark at lower left; edge wear, still Fine, rare usage with probably less than ten examples of the "PANAMA" handstamp known.
