Carriers & Locals, 1845-1856, small but valuable collection on six quadrille pages from an oldtime worldwide collection; comprises off-cover #LO2 block of four, 1LB3 & 7, 3LB2 (2), 4LB20, 6LB3 & 5 and 40L5 plus a N.Y. Provisional (9X1), 5¢ & 10¢ 1847s and CSA 62X1-2 and on-cover 3LB1, 6LB5, 5L2, 72L3 & 106L1; mixed condition (e.g. the 5¢ & 10¢ 1847s have 3 margins and 3½-margins, respectively) but several F-VF or better, the covers have the stamps not tied or manuscript tied. A most unusual lot.
