Cape of Good Hope, Swaziland & Stellaland, 1853-1904, small but valuable collection on seven quadrille pages from an oldtime worldwide collection; the Cape includes the usual plethora of triangles, but condition is better than usual and there are four "Woodblocks"; later issues include (all used unless noted) #21, 29a & b ("THE.EE" & "PENCB" errors) 38 & 39; Mafeking includes #165, 168, 169, 176, 177 & 179 and Vryburg includes N1-4. The Swaziland includes used #1b ("Swazielan" error) and the 10s #8 (signed Eric Smith & A. Diena). And finally, the Stellaland comprises mint #1-5. The Cape triangles are somewhat mixed quality, but the balance, with few exceptions, is F-VF. A great lot.
