China (People's Republic), 1976-77, collection of 105 covers bearing about 160 mostly different stamps between #290-294 and 1337-1339; all are on pictorial envelopes and were created by Jerome C. Ogden and mailed from various Post Offices, mostly to himself at the U.S. Liaison Office in Peking, but 18 were sent by Airmail to relatives in the U.S.; includes lots of sets and better stamps including 1971 Communist Party 50th Anniv. strip (1074a); a most unusual and attractive lot.
