France, 1849-1989, impressive collection in two Scott Specialty albums; 19th century issues are mostly used and in mixed condition, though we note a few better mintPeace & Commerce; 20th century issues, on the other hand, are all mint and nearly complete, including the 1927 Strasbourg sheet, and just about all the-post-1930 issues are NH; Semi-postals are complete less B10, Airs lack only C3-4 and Dues include LH J40 & J50 and NH J52-97; in addition, there's a very nice section of Offices Abroad. A magnificent lot, probably the finest of its type we have offered.
