Danish West Indies, 1915, 40b light gray & light red, 10b red (Facit 55, 50), both tied by "Kingshill 17/2 1917" c.d.s. on cover to Denmark, censor tape at left, Kjobenhavn (8.13) arrival backstamp, clean and Very Fine, a rare double-weight commercial cover to Denmark. Scott 57, 52.

The Christian X issue was available in the Islands for only three months (January-March 1917) before sale of Danish West Indies to the United States. A total of only 1000 stamps was available for sale and commercial usages are quite scarce.
