Newfoundland, 1941-44, 4¢ Pricess Elizabeth, imperf plate proofs (256P), eight different in issued color or shades thereof: one on ungummed, vertically watermarked paper, one on unwatermarked wove, two different shades on thick wove, two with moiré pattern on reverse, one blue, one green (latter minor toning); and two with moiré pattern on front (one blue, one red); a Very Fine and very rare group.
