Canada, 1852, Beaver, 3d red, thin paper (Unitrade 4d), vertical pair with 5mm. sheet margin at top, vivid color, large to ample margins, lower stamp has small wrinkle, each canceled by target and tied by small ink smudges, on attractive 1854 lady's envelope to Farmington, Maine, showing crisp "Steamboat-Letter-Quebec, MY 27 1854" rimless c.d.s., backstamped "Montreal L.C./MY 29 1854", Very Fine.
