Canada, 1855, Prince Albert, 6d greenish gray (Unitrade 5b), distinctive color, huge margins on three sides with 4mm. sheet margin at top, just in at bottom, applied over "Paid/Drawer 14 U.J. & Co." oval handstamp in carmine and tied by concentric rings cancel on 1856 cover with "By Grand Trunk Railway" carmine handstamp and addressed to Bryants Pond, Maine, showing "Mon. & Isld. P.O. Grand Tr'k R. Way No. 6/C/Down/May 9 1856" double-ring d.s. adjacent; tiny edge tear at top, a Very Fine and outstanding use. Scott 5b.
