Canada, 1857, Prince Albert, 6d reddish purple, very thick soft wove paper (Unitrade 10), large to mostly huge margins, tied by beautiful red target cancel on blue cover to Oneida Valley, New York, matching "Port Colborne U.C., AU 9 1858" c.d.s., endorsed "Paid", original 1858 letter enclosed; cover restored, a Very Fine appearing use prepaying the 6d rate to the U.S. Scott 10.
