Canada, 1859, Prince Albert, 10¢ black brown (Unitrade 16), bright, rich color and sharp impression, used with 5¢ vermilion (15), canceled or tied by concentric-rings cancels on neat 1860 cover to Grass Valley, Cal., matching "Eramosa U.C." postmark with manuscript "Aug 30/1860" dating, reverse with "G.W.R./East" (8.26) and Guelph (8.30) transits; the envelope a bit reduced at right and tiny patched central hole, Very Fine and remarkable 15 cents rate cover for over 3000 miles to California which was in effect until June 30, 1864.
