Canada, 1855, Prince Albert, 6d slate gray (Unitrade 5), horizontal pair with large to huge margins including part of adjacent stamp at right, some light tone spots, tied by ring cancels on cover to England, partial matching Barrie May 18, 1859 c.d.s., red "London Paid, JU 9 59" arrival c.d.s.; no left flap and small internal tear, a Very Fine and rare use. Twelve covers exist from this correspondence to England. Apparently the Barrie Post Office had no 10d values available.
