Canada, 1859, Jacques Cartier, 17¢ blue (Unitrade 19), two singles, used with 1¢ rose (14), single and pair, and a 5¢ vermilion (15) single, all tied by large circular grids on blue cover to Scotland, "Montreal C.E., OC 29 '66" origin c.d.s., showing three strikes of red "Registered" straightline, British red crowned "Registered" handstamp, Edinburgh (11.10) arrival backstamp; some minor perf toning and one 1¢ with a small stain and may have been fraudulently reused by the sender, a small piece of the flap is missing, still Fine use prepaying two times the 17¢ British packet rate plus 8¢ registry fee.
