Open Circle of Wedges (Weiss TR-W9), complete strike ties 6¢ dull rose (159), exceptionally well centered, light corner crease, on attractive 1873 cover to Dresden, Germany, forwarded upon arrival to Florence, Italy, reverse red "New York Paid All, Nov 5" c.d.s., framed "Bremen/Franco" transit handstamp, upon arrival in Germany the cover was forwarded with "Robert Thode & Co., Dresden" forwarders backstamp on reverse to Italy, where an 1870 Italian 30c postage due (top left corner missing) affixed and tied by Florence c.d.s., various transit and arrival markings on reverse; sealed edgetear at left, still Very Fine.
