Lincoln Soldier's Identification Tag, 1860, brass, 29 mm, front features bust of Lincoln and inscription "Abraham Lincoln - President U.S. * War of 1861*" reverse die-stamped "James Fogle, Frederick Co. Md., Co. G, 1st M.D., V.V Cav., to Brother M.F." Retains much of the original gilt with hole at the top for suspension., Very Fine.
