Vignette Essay, starting with the American vignette, the N.B.N.C. mixed in elements of the 1862 Brady photograph (especially the hair) and shortened the bust to used as a master die for Treasury bonds, impression on India die sunk on card 107x128mm; accompanied by an 1863-64 bank note showing Lincoln vignette, Very Fine, the only recorded example of this N.B.N.C. vignette essay.
