A NEW DISCOVERY, ONE OF ONLY TWO RECORDED 1870 6¢ BANK NOTE BISECT USAGES, THIS BEING THE ONLY DIAGONAL BISECT KNOWN.

The other 1870 6¢ bisect use was a vertically bisected example and was recently sold by Matthew Bennett in Sale 335 as part of the Eliot Landau collection and realized $6,613.
