Canada, 1915-16 War Tax Issues, selection of about 30 black approval cards containing about 35 singles, 6 pairs, 5 strips of 4 and 30 blocks; highlights include two blocks each of MR2B, MR2Bi & MR2C and one block of MR2D plus MR4a & b, MR6 (NH paste-up pair & paste-up strip of 4), two strips of 4 of MR7a (one with 3 NH, other one stamp thin) and much more including shade and plate varieties; virtually all Fine-Very Fine or better and much is NH. Scott value is over $12,000 plus Unitrade is $7,500 for the overprints (4 of the 7 figured at Fine price). A terrific lot of the scarce issues.
