STRAFFORD.VT. JAN 5, boldly struck Type D postmark with second lighter strike below it, on 1839 folded letter to Hartland, manuscript "Paid 6" rate, tiny manuscript mark in each "5" of date appears to be contemporary, Very Fine. The only recorded example.
