Paid, Jan 20" exchange office c.d.s., red manuscript "Paid 72" the "72" crossed out, red London Paid transit c.d.s. (Feb 10), magenta "24" credit and ms. "1", backstamped Bombay (Mar 14); corner crease one stamp, otherwise fresh and Very Fine. Apparently franked for the 72¢ Bremen-Hamburg rate via Marseilles, but sent instead by American packet open mail via England, with significant overpayment.
