1857, 12¢ black, plate I (36), block of six tied by blue "New York Mills N.Y., Jun 16" c.d.s.s on legal size cover to England, black New York Am. Pkt exchange office c.d.s. with "Short Paid" and "84" handstamps, marked manuscript "4/-" (96¢) due, several backstamps; neatly cleaned and pressed with a horizontal crease affecting the top three stamps, couple short perfs, otherwise Fine and unusual, blocks of the 12¢ being quite rare.
