THE EARLIEST DOCUMENTED USAGE OF THE PERFORATED TYPE III FROM POSITION 99R2, AND ONE OF ONLY 3 RECORDED EXAMPLES ON COVER.

Expertization: 1999 A.P.S. certificate stating this is the earliest documented use.

The Scott Catalogue states that there are two covers with the perforated 99R2, however, we note 3: an ex Ishikawa and Zoellner cover, a cover with six 1¢ singles, including a 99R2 ex Neinken and Wagshal, and the present Armitage cover,
