1857, 3¢ dull red, type III, double impression (26e), pronounced doubling, especially in the rosettes and the value label, tied by "New Orleans La." c.d.s. on gray cover to Boston, cancel is quite light, leaving the doubling unobscured, stamp with some pulled perfs and minor gum soaks, otherwise Very Fine.
