1861, 1¢ blue, printed on both sides (63e), fully inked impression of portions of two stamps printed on reverse, inverted in relation to the front, cork cancel, few nibbed or irregular perforations, tiny pinholes at top and bottom. Fine and spectacular appearance.

The other example was sold in a Bennett (Heritage) auction, HA sale 1111, December 2009. It came from a longtime collector of rare used U.S. who had owned his for decades. Both stamps feature identical centering,identical printing on reverse, the same tiny pinholes, and had, most likely, originally been a pair.
