1856, 5¢ red brown (12), large to huge margins with a light red town cancel, scissor cuts in margins. Very Fine.

Expertization: with 1988 P.F. certificate.
Certificate notes "knife slices in the top and right margins", apparently the remnants of having removed the stamp from the sheet with a dull blade. Both could easily be trimmed away without much affect.
