Harriman signature (as Ambassador to Russia, later holding other posts), typed "By Hand" and "Personal and Most Secret", blind embossed CC "Ambassador of the United States"; cover addressed to Harry Hopkins, hand franked "By Foreign Office Bag", printed return address "10 Downing St, Whitehall"; cover addressed to Hopkins and self censored by Harry C. Butcher, USNR (Chief Aide to Eisenhower); cover addressed to Hopkins and with purple boxed censor handstamp and endorsed by C.L. Chennault, Maj. Gen AUS (commanded "Flying Tigers in China"); George E Stratemeyer "Free" frank and additional self censored signature of 9/19/43 cover to Hopkins, all attractive and Fine or better, all signatures bold.
