1851, 1¢ blue, type I (5), balanced margins, barely touching in a couple of spots but all type characteristics are completely visible, lovely fresh and bright color. Neat red N.Y. square grid cancel. Small expertly covered surface scrapes in vignette, absolutely invisible to naked eye and pretty much invisible even under magnification. Choice Very Fine appearance.
