Taft (1857-1930), 27th President of the United States (1909-1913), and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, partly printed document signed "Wm H Taft" as President, countersigned "Robert Shaw Oliver" as acting Secretary of War, one sheet 17½" x 14½", September 27th, 1911, Taft appoints Frank Bloom Second Lieutenant of Field Artillery, bold signature, fine blue seal, some repairs mostly near edge, not very noticeable and not affecting signature, Very Good.
