Hearst, William Randolph (1863-1951), Businessman, Newspaper Publisher, and Politician, autograph letter signed, one sheet 7" x 9" on "Europa" stationery (1930), Hearst writes to his wife from the ship "Europa" and the letter was mailed by an airplane catapulted from the ship (special mailing envelope inclosed), Hearst tells Millicent that "the stamps are a special issue and should be valuable some day," he continues, "I suppose you have heard of the strained relations between France and myself. Isn't it awful — for France.", Very Fine.
