George, David Lloyd (1863-1945), Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (1916-1922), typed letter signed "D Lloyd George" as Minister of Munitions, one sheet 7½" x 9", Ministry of Munitions of War letterhead, October 7, 1915, thanking a Mr. T. Maw for his most "patriotic cooperation" in the war effort, a little aged at right, Fine, excellent content, written the year before he became Prime Minister.
