Galveston, Texas, 1861, 10¢ black (98XU2), typical blurred strike of the fancy framed "PAID" handstamp with the "10" struck well below and a partial Dec 1861 Galveston c.d.s. on a small cover, made from a turned, partly illustrated "Yankee" Ship's Bill of Lading, to Anderson, Tex.; left flap "flipped" for display, tear at the left.
