1901, 10¢ Pan-American "sinking ship" (299), lower left corner margin single, original gum never hinged, the vignette is shifted downward sufficiently to block the inscription "Fast Ocean Navigation", exceptionally wide margins and wel centered within them, bright fresh color and paper. Extremely Fine, a choice variety of this scarcer variety. SMQ $1,200 without a premium for the variety.
