Postage Dues, 1879, 1¢-50¢ trial color large die proofs (J1TC1-J7TC1), nearly a complete set comprising 59 of the 60 listed colors lacking only the 3¢ gray black, all but the 5¢ ultramarine are still on card, each neatly reduced to just large than the size of the die, i.e. approximately 55mm x 65mm for the 1¢ to 5¢ and 65mm x 75mm for the 10¢-50¢ except the 1¢ ultramarine and the 30¢ olive yellow, which are 45mm x 54mm; a few with slight tone spots and the oranges are slightly oxidized but overall very fine and exceedingly rare sets that would take many years to duplicate.
