1858, 5¢ brick red, type I (27), near perfect centering within large margins and perfs clear on all sides, handsome rich color with a clear impression, cancelled by black town c.d.s. and red transit datestamp, bright and fresh; filled thin and single short perf at right (not mentioned on P.F.C.), an Extremely Fine appearing and very attractive example.
